Berkley & Animals

Berkley loves her doggie pillow. It usually spends most of its time on her bed, but she brought it out to play today and brought several other of her friends, including Moshi, with her. Since we are not going to be having a kid brother or sister for Berkley to grow up with, Moshi will have to fill this role. He actually does a very good job of this. He helps clean up Berkley's messes by following her around whenever she is eating something in the hopes that she will drop something that he can claim as his own. Although Moshi loves his doggie bed, he willing shares it with Berkley as she uses it as an activity center. (OK, I don't know how willing he shares it, because she pretty much pushes Moshi out of the way whenever she wants to use it and he happens to be there.) Some of the time, he becomes an unwitting pillow as Berkley comes and lays on his bed and him at the same time. Moshi will usually have a pathetic "help me" look on his face, but to his credit, Moshi knows this is one of his only jobs that he has in this house. He thinks his other job is to bark at everything that enters the house, but we're trying to convince him otherwise.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July was pretty relaxing. Connor was playing with cousins in St. George and the girls went to watch Miley Cyrus in the Stadium of Fire. Nancy, Berkley, and myself went to Mike's for a BBQ and came home for the Dulle Firework Show. Berkley was surprising calm with all the bombs bursting in air. I loved to watch the light from the fireworks bounce off of my girl's faces.

My Wife's "Happy Place"

This is Nancy's "Happy Place" (her new couch in our living room). You can find her here reading a book, taking a catnap, clipping coupons (her latest hobby) or just watching the kids run around the house.

Sunkist

We are enjoying our backyard very much this year. It's been fun to sit and watch the kids play.
